Framed and unframed louvres to prevent direct sunlight on the water, minimise windage losses, and keep debris out — supplied as new-fit or retrofit for any make of counter flow or cross flow tower.
) (cps supplies air inlet louvres for counter flow and cross flow cooling towers — fully compliant with the requirements of HSE ACoP L8 (Legionnaires' Disease: The control of Legionella bacteria in water systems).
The L8 guidance requires the base tank of cooling towers to be fully enclosed to prevent direct sunlight on the water. Air inlet louvres should be designed to minimise splash-out and windage losses, and to prevent leaves or other debris being drawn in.
We supply louvres as retrofit to older towers, as replacements for existing units, framed or unframed, with or without a supporting structure.
Designed to meet Legionella control requirements.
With or without supporting structural frame.
Supplied for both standard cooling tower configurations.
For installation on existing towers as well as new units.
Direct replacements for worn or damaged units on existing cooling towers. Supplied cut to size with full fitting instructions.
